Science. Technology. Engineering. Maths.

We love to challenge the Cub Scouts in different ways and really push them to try new things. In this exercise, we had the Cub lairs build a camp stove and a tripod using the staves and twine that we had at the hall.

This was a brilliant exercise where they had to practice their knot skills, lashing skills and teamwork to make it all come together. The final results were brilliant, and they had a ton of fun in the process!

Camp kitchen starting to take shape … well done!
Great job boys … well done!
They have the tripod built but don’t want to show anyone 🙂
